WE ARE LIVING IN A WAR ZONE!
–The Bible tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty to pull down strongholds…(2 COR.10:3,4)
WE CAN WIN THE BATTLE!
–The Bible tells us that some things would not go out but by Prayer and Fasting…(Matthew 17:21) God will fight for us, but
WE MUST DO OUR PART!
WHAT IS A TRENCH? Physical warfare is a blueprint of what happens in spiritual warfare. It would make sense to study and analyze military strategies involved in physical warfare and apply them to the spiritual warfare we face daily.
- PHYSICAL – During World War 1 an innovative military strategy emerged. Long, deep military TRENCHES were dug for any soldier seeking shelter, refuge and protection from the enemy. Together they would kneel in the TRENCHES, covering each other and using this vantage point to launch their firepower against the enemy.
- SPIRITUAL – The same strategy can be used in a spiritual sense. The enemy is advancing and his purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. We have a chance to win if we all commit to dig deep spiritual TRENCHES – a safe space where we kneel in prayer, covering each other and using our fire power (THE WORD OF GOD) to launch an attack against the enemy.
