Overview
In the unnamed Shulamite Woman of the Song of Solomon, we find one of the most unreserved, unadulterated celebrations of femineity. The Shulamite woman is characterized as a doting daughter (Song of Solomon 6:9), a cherished sister (Song of Solomon 8:9-9), and a vision of beauty (Song of Solomon 4:1–7; 6:4–10; 7:1–7) and is portrayed in imagery that suggests tenderness (Song of Solomon 2:2), strength (Song of Solomon 7:4) and stateliness (Song of Solomon 7:7) as well as sensual (Song of Solomon 4:12).
This retreat, fashioned after the retreats featured in the Shulamite series novels, Naked and Unashamed and Deliver us from eviL, will serve to celebrate the inner Shulamite Woman in you – to celebrate all the diverse, complex, tender, uninhibited, beautiful, and loving pieces of you.
And He said to them, ‘Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while’ (Mark 6:31). You are being called to an epic exhale moment – a time of rediscovery, renewal, refreshing, and restoration.
You give so much to so many, now is the time for self-replenishment. The next few days you will immerse yourself in the luxurious surroundings of the 85 acre boutique spa and resort located outside of Asheville, North Carolina.
